Ozone Therapy

I keep hearing about ozone therapy for longevity. Does it actually help with healthy aging?

Answered by Clinic Living Plus Medical Experts · 20 Oct 2026 · 2 min read
The question, asked by a person aged 18 to 29

I’m interested in longevity and came across ozone therapy while looking into different treatments. I’m confused about what it’s actually supposed to do for ageing and whether there’s any reason to consider it if I’m otherwise healthy.

Ozone therapy is quite popular in the longevity topic. This is what is studied and believed it can do.

It creates a small, controlled stress on your body. In response to this, your cells switch on their own antioxidant and repair systems. This can help with:

  • Improve the use of oxygen and its circulation.
  • Helps improve the body’s antioxidant defences
  • Supports the immune system and helps reduce inflammation.

Now, most of the research on ozone is specific to conditions like pain, infections, and wounds. There is no strong proof of ozone helping with anti-ageing treatment in healthy individuals. If you are healthy, then diet, exercise, and sleep will do far more for longevity than ozone alone. It is worth considering if you have any inflammation, poor recovery, or are dealing with oxidative stress. Again, this can be done after your safety testing.

Suggested Tests

  • hs-CRP
  • HbA1c, lipid profile
  • Liver, kidney function tests
  • CBC
  • TSH and free T4
  • Vitamin D
  • G6PD test
  • Coagulation profile
  • Pregnancy test

How Clinic Living Plus Can Help

At CLP, ozone therapy is a part of our longevity kit. However, we only recommend it after your safety test and if it can help.

We check for inflammation, oxidative stress, metabolic, and hormone markers.

We do safety testing for G6PD, thyroid, and clotting before ozone sessions.

In case of oxidative stress, ozone therapy can be included, and our doctors will oversee and supervise the treatment.

A longevity plan which includes your nutrition, strength training, sleep, and stress care as these are basic that form the foundation. We also provide advanced nutrition therapies, if required.

Weekly review to track your results and see if the markers are improving.
